nUR Thompson Gastroenterology clinic is looking for a nurse with advanced clinical skills to join our team. nSchedule: Full time, M-F 8am-4:30pm, working out of the Marilyn Sands Outpatient Clinic at the Hospital.

n nMain Function:
nnnResponsible for telephone triage and patient education
n
nnProvides quality patient care under the guidance of the providers
n
nnAssess, plan and evaluate nursing care
n
nnAssist the providers with scheduling patient procedures, patient clearance, and pre and post procedure education
n
n nJob Specific Competencies:
nnnSkill in provision of care to patients of the Gastroenterology
n
nnAbility to collect, document and access data in the electronic medical record
n
nnTelephone triage
n
n nQualifications:
nnnCurrent NYS RN license required
n
nnCurrent Infection Control Certificate required
n
nnBLS certification required
n
n nEducation:
nnGraduate of an approved school of nursing required
n nExperience:
nnnThree years of recent nursing experience required
n
nnPhysician office nursing experience and triage experience preferred
n
nnGastroenterology experience preferred
n

nPay Range: $34.00 - $45.00/hour
