Job description
Office SecretarySparks Group has partnered with a Maryland state government agency in Baltimore to hire an Office Secretary who will serve as the front face of the agency, support the Operations team, and work directly with the Assistant Secretary of Operations - helping support the agency's mission and positively impact the lives of everyday Maryland citizens.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for the agency by answering and directing incoming calls, greeting visitors, coordinating office deliveries, and managing general inquiriesProvide administrative support to the Assistant Secretary of OperationsDraft, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and official documents in accordance with agency standardsMaintain organized electronic and physical filing systems, including procurement and physical inventory recordsManage office inventory and coordinate office supply purchasesAssist with document distribution, expense reporting, and routine administrative processesSupport coordination of agency-wide events, staff meetings, and internal communicationsMaintain the organization, cleanliness, and professional appearance of office spaces, including conference rooms, supply areas, and kitchenPerform other related duties as assigned to support agency operationsRequirements:At least 3 years of experience as an office secretary, administrative assistant, or relevant experienceProficient in Google Office and Microsoft ExcelAbility to list of move up to 25 LBSExcellent customer service skillsProblem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailSelf-starterThis job is In-Person.
