Official Records Services ClerkJoin our team and play a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our community's official records. This Official Records Services Clerk role offers meaningful public service work, professional growth opportunities, and hands-on experience with a wide range of court and official documentation.What You'll DoReview, accept, and record official documents with accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with statutory requirements.Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers in person, over the phone, and through email.Process payments securely and follow all established cash-handling guidelines.Perform notarizations as a Florida Notary Public, verifying identities and completing legally compliant notarial acts.Issue marriage licenses and officiate ceremonies with professionalism and adherence to legal standards.Manage incoming mail and interoffice correspondence, ensuring timely and confidential routing.Retrieve archival records using microfilm systems and support preservation of historical documents.Assist with special projects and additional duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:Strong keyboarding, data entry, filing, and organizational skillsAbility to read and accurately process written instructions and court-related materialsClear written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with PCs, printers, and standard office equipmentProfessionalism, teamwork, and a service-driven attitudeCommitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and tact in sensitive situationsFlexibility to work extended hours when neededEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentOne year of clerical experience or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position dutiesAbility to successfully complete the Passport Agent Certification Test within one (1) year of date of hire to qualify for new agent responsibilities.Supplemental InformationSuperior health care plans with low premiumsCompetitive retirement and pension plans - Florida Retirement System and 457 deferred compensation optionsGenerous paid time off, paid holidays, birthday leave, and volunteer timeOur Wellness Program gives employees incentives, tools, social support, and strategies to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyleWe are a qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness ProgramApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Our organization is unable to sponsor or takeover sponsorship of an employment Visa.
