Job Title : Oligonucleotide Scientist II
Working Model : Fully on-site, South San Francisco, CA 94080
Working Days : Monday to Friday
Duration : 12 months contract (with possible extension)
Terms : Contract W2
Interview Format : One Round (30 minutes) - Local candidates should join the interviews on site, candidates outside of the immediate area may join virtually
SKILLS
Hands-on expertise in oligonucleotide therapeutics discovery, synthesis, and nucleic acid chemistry to support RNAi drug discovery programs.
BS/MS degree in Organic Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
Hands-on experience with automated oligonucleotide synthesizers, oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and characterization techniques.
Strong experience with analytical platforms including HPLC and Mass Spectrometry for oligonucleotide purification, characterization, and impurity profiling.
Knowledge of RNAi therapeutics and nucleic acid therapeutic modalities within pharmaceutical or biotechnology research environments.
Preferred experience in large molecule drug discovery, oligonucleotide delivery technologies, or bioconjugation approaches.
