Are you a new clinician ready to launch your career doing work that truly matters?

At The Children's Guild, we believe that access to quality mental health care can change the trajectory of a child's life. We are looking for passionate, emerging clinicians to join our Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) team and begin building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.

Who We Are

The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance — one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, new or early-career clinician to develop their skills in a structured, supportive, and mission-driven environment. As an OMHC Clinician, you will:

Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents experiencing mental health, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards

Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, school staff, and community providers to coordinate care

Engage families as active, essential partners in the therapeutic process

Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

Support crisis assessment and safety planning as needed

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)

Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
