Job description
Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) in New York seeks a Driver Standby on duty who will provide light to heavy standby support on a 24-hour rotated shift, ready to respond within 20 minutes to pick-up passengers, cargo, or stranded vehicles.
You will drive a range of GSA/Tactical vehicles, perform dispatch tasks, assist the Dispatcher, maintain lots in inclement weather, and participate in snow/ice control and routine inspections.
