Job description
Northwell Health in Poughkeepsie, NY, seeks a Doula (Per Diem) for the NHMP Southern OB/GYN team to provide continuous emotional and physical support during labor and the postpartum period. Doulas work on a 24-hour on-call schedule to stay with the patient through labor and delivery.
Required DONA or CAPPA certification and a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred. This role involves assisting with birth plans, family support, bonding, and patient education activities as scheduled.
