Join our team and be a part of a group of protectors.SafeHaven Security Group, LLC is offering an opportunity to the right individual to protect people and resources for our Springfield, MO clients in the role of PSO I, II, and III.The best candidates will perform the following duties and more:Patrol buildings and perform other duties as assigned.Deny entry to all unauthorized individuals and escort unauthorized individuals off the property as needed.Respond to incidents and provide accurate documentation, including verbal and written reports of incidents to necessary personnel and/or authorities.Provide entry to authorized individualsAlert police of any elevated threats that may occurProtect people, businesses, and property from criminal activityInvestigate reports of suspicious activities or disruptions occurring on the propertyBe a Highly Visible DeterrentBe professional in appearanceBe professional in interactions with othersBenefits Include:Health, HSA, Dental, Vision, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Life, and AD&DPaid Time OffAdditional training and experienceCompany and professional progressionRequirementsWe prefer to partner with someone with the following education and experience:Private Security Officers to perform their job duties in compliance with state requirements, such as additional training and credentialing.Must have the ability to handle administrative tasks and be physically able to walk/climb at the facility.High School Diploma/GEDAbility to perform the aforementioned physical tasksAbility to utilize a high emotional quotient to build relationships with DomTar employees.Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background checkMust possess a valid driver's licenseClean driving recordCurrent or previous military and/or police experience is appreciatedNational register for EMT is an additional bonus but not required.Ability to pass state and FBI background checks is required. Any felony and most class A misdemeanors disqualify applicants even if the charge was expunged. Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening.
