Job description
Michigan State University is seeking a Medical Technologist for its Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The role involves performing and evaluating complex lab tests to provide diagnostic data for veterinarians. This is primarily an on-call position with varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate will be certified as a MT or CLS (ASCP or BOR) and will engage in lab maintenance, troubleshooting, and consultation with veterinarians regarding test results. Exposure to animal tissue is a requirement.
