Overview
A thriving healthcare system is seeking a BC/BE Oncologist/Hematologist to work in the Michigan City, IN area. The system is a multispecialty group with over 1,100 MD/DOs and APPs and 12 hospitals, serving more than 240 locations throughout the region.
Job/Practice Description
Clinic schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. The physician will have 36hours of patient contact weekly with the possibility of a 4½‑day work week. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call includes 1:3 call ratios and provides additional time off during the week for weekend call. Anticipated outpatient volume is 12–15 patients per day.
Qualifications
Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Oncology and Hematology
Maintains current board certifications
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association required
Doctorate – MD/DO

The cancer treatment center includes an infusion center, radiation oncology with Trilogy Linear Accelerator and new TruBeam Linear Accelerator with Hyperarc, neurosurgery, on‑site physicist, pharmacy, nurse navigators, research, palliative care NPs, social worker, and a monthly tumor board.
