Job description
Manchester Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Nurse Assistant for our Oncology/MedSurg unit. In this role, you will provide bedside support including vital signs, glucometer checks, hygiene, mobility assistance, and monitoring patient status. You will support nurses with treatments, specimen collection, and documentation in the EHR. The Nurse Assistant helps maintain a clean, safe environment, supports infection control, and responds promptly to call lights. You’ll collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, provide emotional support to patients and families, and uphold our patient-centered, community-focused culture.
