About This Role
The Oncology/Infusion RN at Martha's Vineyard Hospital provides nursing services in accordance with applicable standards and established policies, focusing on high-quality care for patients needing outpatient infusion therapy. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who are passionate about patient advocacy and collaboration within a healthcare team.

What You'll Do
Provide nursing services in Oncology/Infusion according to standards and policies.
Coordinate patient care and collaborate with healthcare team members.
Act as a patient guide and advocate, ensuring informed consent.
Collect and communicate patient health data systematically.
Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses.
Develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans.
Implement and document nursing interventions and patient responses.
Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Participate in performance improvement and professional development activities.
Requirements
Education
Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience
1 year of prior related medical/surgical experience preferred.
Strong IV skills or certification preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Current RN License in Massachusetts required.
BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire.
Current chemotherapy/biotherapy card required within 3 months of employment.
