Compensation Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 annually (Range provided in compliance with Vermont Act 155; final compensation based on experience and market factors)
Licensure & Certification Requirements Medical Degree: MD (or equivalent) - Required
Board Status:
Board Certified in Oncology OR
Board Eligible in Oncology
State License:
Active Vermont medical license (or ability to obtain)
Practice & Facility Overview Hospital Type: Not-for-profit community hospital
Beds: 61
Service Area: 55,000 population across VT, NH, and MA
Oncology Setting: Outpatient clinic (open 5 days/week)
Oncology Team Includes:
Board-certified Medical Oncologist/Hematologist
Oncology-certified RNs
Nurse Practitioner / Clinical Nurse Specialist
Breast & Oncology Nurse Navigator
Clinical Responsibilities (High-Level) Diagnose and stage cancers
Develop and manage personalized oncology treatment plans
Administer and oversee therapies including:
Chemotherapy
Immunotherapy
Targeted therapies
Monitor patient progress and manage treatment side effects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Provide patient and family education and support
Participate in clinical research and quality initiatives (as applicable)
