Med Ninjas is seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist for an outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Stuart, Florida . This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, a manageable outpatient census, strong physician and APP support, and the possibility of extending beyond the initial coverage period.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Light, approximately 1:6 at most

Practice Details The physician will provide general medical oncology coverage. The patient population is expected to include a significant number of breast oncology patients.
Typical responsibilities include:
Evaluate and manage new and established oncology patients
Provide standard outpatient medical oncology care
Complete documentation and routine clinical responsibilities
Provide oversight associated with chemotherapy and immunotherapy
Participate in limited call coverage as scheduled
The physician is expected to see up to:
3 new patients per day
8 established patients per day
No tumor board participation or similar additional duties are currently required.
Support & Clinical Environment You ll join an established outpatient oncology team with:
5 physicians
6 APPs
Nursing support
Dietician support
Patient navigation
Clerical/support personnel
The physician is required to be onsite for chemotherapy , rather than personally administering treatment.
Requirements Board Certified in Oncology
Medical oncology experience
Ability to manage chemotherapy and immunotherapy patients
Ability to complete facility credentialing
Licensing candidates may be considered
