Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner
This facility is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: Full-time outpatient clinic coverage; Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm (8 hours/day), no call; 4 weeks/month required
Practice Setting: Outpatient Oncology/Hematology clinic; clinic attached to chemo treatment center and hospital
Type of cases and required procedures: Hematology/Oncology patient care; providers must provide 2 years of inpatient case logs to qualify for privileges
Credentialing timeframe: September start possible with temporary privileges for clean files; otherwise, October start anticipated
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified
Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Licensure required: Active California state license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) required; Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
