Job description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a skilled, BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to work full-time at their hospital in Florence, SC. This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in Florence and the surrounding communities.
The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSC s Department of Radiation Oncology in Charleston and will receive access to the division s resources, as well as clinical support from the team at MUSC s Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC. Join a team of driven providers that is dedicated to making transformational cancer treatment more widely available to patients throughout South Carolina.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be MD/DO and BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of South Carolina
Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills
Position Highlights:
One location MUSC Radiation Oncology Florence (Hollings Cancer Network)
patients per day
Shared emergent call
On-site Lab and Pharmacy
2 Radiation Nurses, 4 Radiation Therapists, 1.5 Physicist and 1.5 Dosimetrist
Well-established, collaborative team
Equipment includes Varian Trilogy , Eclipse software, ARIA oncology information system, and CT Simulator with 4DCT capability.
