Radiation Oncology Physician Opportunity
Lexington, Kentucky
A healthcare facility in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum coverage in an ambulatory clinic setting.
Compensation:
$330/hr
Position Details

Schedule:
Tuesday Friday
8:00 AM 4:30 PM
No call required
Clinical Responsibilities
New patient consultations
Follow-up visits
Treatment planning
Status checks
Tumor conference participation
Oversight of radiation treatments
Required Procedures
SBRT
IMRT
3D conformal therapy
SRS
Patient Volume
Approximately 20 patients per day
Case Types
Various oncologic disease states
Practice Environment
EMR: Epic
Support staff includes:
1 RN
4 Radiation Therapists
2 Medical Physicists
3 Dosimetrists
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
Residency/Fellowship training required
State license preferred
Providers willing to obtain licensure before start date will be considered
BLS preferred and required by start date
ACLS preferred
PALS preferred
DEA preferred and required by start date
Clean background and malpractice history required
NPDB Self-Query report required within 30 days of presentation
Additional Information
Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60+ days
Local candidates preferred
Travel candidates accepted
