Facility:

This well-established radiation oncology center operates two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and one CT simulator, serving an average daily patient census of approximately 30 patients. The center is supported by a dedicated team including radiation therapists, a dosimetrist, a physicist, and nursing staff, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced clinical environment.

Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

Coverage needed for December 21-23 and December 28-31, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (one-hour lunch break)

Manage approximately 30 patient encounters per shift

Perform new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, on-treatment visits (OTVs), and verification simulations

Operate and manage treatment using Linear Accelerator, including Rapid Arc/VMAT and Electrons

Apply external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) techniques

Perform Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)

Conduct Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

Utilize hyper altered fractionation techniques

Perform conventional treatment planning, beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, and IMRT planning

Conduct PET CT or MRI image fusion and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)

Board certification required; BLS certification required

Active Texas license or IMLC required

Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
