Radiation Oncology Illinois

An established, integrated healthcare system in Central Illinois is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join a growing oncology program. This opportunity offers a high-volume clinical environment, advanced technology, and the ability to play a key role in shaping the future of an expanding cancer service line.
Opportunity Highlights
Base salary of $600,000
Sign-on bonus ranging from $50,000-$75,000
Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
1:3 call rotation with low call volume
Opportunity to help build and expand a growing oncology program
Autonomy with strong system-level support and resources
Leadership and program development opportunities available
Practice Highlights
Hospital-based radiation oncology practice with strong referral base
Daily mix of consults (2-3), follow-ups, and treatment planning
Advanced technology including TrueBeam and Edge linear accelerators
Onsite CT simulation and HDR therapy capabilities
Weekly tumor boards and interdisciplinary collaboration
Strong oncology network with access to subspecialty support and clinical trials
Flexible workflow with ability to tailor schedule to physician preference
