Job description
Overview
Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) role at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. Travel assignment with a top healthcare client. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency.
Responsibilities
Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages, usually focusing on the acute phase.
Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal, manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may administer chemotherapy.
Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease specifics.
Qualifications
Active RN License
Degree from an accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
