Strong written communication - clear, professional documentation and correspondence across a research org.

Hands-on operational execution - willingness to personally do the physical/logistical work (event setup, equipment distribution, lab logistics, onboarding/offboarding walkthroughs), plus the organization and project-management discipline to juggle multiple priorities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Previous contractor or employee experience (explicitly a nice-to-have, not a disqualifier).

Prior experience in a fast-paced research, hardware, or product-development environment.

Tool/process building - creating lightweight tools, trackers, and documentation repositories to solve org needs.

Degrees / Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field; relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Lab and equipment logistics; distributing gear; supporting facility space allocation.

Maintain information-sharing platforms and document repositories.

Coordinate team events and activities (including physical setup).

Monitor operations, catch issues early, and fix or escalate.

Build simple tools and provide light technical support.

Are There Any Immediate Disqualifiers or Red Flags That Stand Out?

Unwilling or unable to be onsite in Redmond 5 days/week with morning availability.

Fewer than 5 years of relevant operations experience.
