Job description
A part-time Physical Therapist with expertise in school-based settings and telehealth services is needed for a contract position located in New Market, Indiana. This role involves providing physical therapy support to students within a school environment, utilizing both in-person and telehealth methods to deliver effective care.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting physical therapy evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
Implementing therapy sessions through direct in-person interaction and telehealth platforms
Collaborating with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
Documenting and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
Adhering to all applicable school policies, safety standards, and ethical guidelines
Desired qualifications and experience: Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials valid in Indiana
Previous experience working within school settings, preferably with pediatric populations
Proficiency in delivering telehealth physical therapy services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families
Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and remote service delivery
