About KARL STORZ

From the operating room to surgery centers—and everywhere in between—KARL STORZ North America is a global leader in medical technology and advanced visualization solutions. We design specialty innovations, smart instruments and devices, integrated ecosystems, and intelligent imaging—to build a more connected, software-enabled operating room.

As an independent, family-owned MedTech company, we ambitiously think in generations instead of quarters to improve patients’ lives around the world.

About the Role

One of the most rewarding ways to launch your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES)  team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced medical devices—from precision instruments to state-of-the-art video systems—directly within a hospital environment.

You will work closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams to ensure surgical readiness and successful outcomes. This role offers unmatched exposure to clinical environments and cutting-edge technology, while serving as a launching pad for long-term career growth across sales, leadership, education, and beyond.

If you’re driven, service-oriented, and eager to make a meaningful impact on patient care, this is your opportunity to grow with a global MedTech leader.

Shift: Monday - Friday and the shift is 6:30am - 3:00pm

What You’ll Do

Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment

Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures

Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment

Transport, clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for use

Manage repair processes, track equipment status, and facilitate service transactions

Troubleshoot real-time equipment issues in the operating room to support successful procedures

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, sales, or other clinical/medical environments

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in fast-paced, service-driven teams

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools

Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Nice to Have:

Associate’s degree

CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification

Experience supporting surgical equipment or medical devices

What Will Make You Successful

A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across clinical teams

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments

A customer-first approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support

Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies

Clear, professional communication with both clinical and internal stakeholders

Why KARL STORZ?

Join KARL STORZ and be part of a team dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovation and collaboration. We invest in your growth with relocation support, certification reimbursement, and ongoing training opportunities to help you build a meaningful, long-term career.

You’ll work with cutting-edge surgical technology, collaborate with leading healthcare professionals, and contribute directly to life-changing procedures every day.

Ready to make an impact?  Apply to be our next Onsite Endoscopic Specialist  and help us build the future of MedTech together.
