Job description
PAY: $60-65/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.
This is a contract to hire role; W2 Candidates only, 1099/C2C NOT POSSIBLE
This is a fully onsite role in San Diego, CA; there is no option for hybrid or remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation, automation, and management.
Implement and manage container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
Develop and maintain Helm Charts for application deployment and management.
Use Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and other cloud networking components.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, cost, and security.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role.
Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
Hands‑on experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and container orchestration.
Knowledge of Helm Charts for Kubernetes application management.
Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, PowerShell.
Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
In‑depth understanding of Azure Virtual Networks (vNet) and cloud networking principles.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
Familiarity with additional DevOps tools and practices.
Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
