Job description
University of Virginia invites applications for an academically oriented faculty member to serve as Associate Medical Director of the Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine Service at UVA University Hospital and the Medical Director of the Blood Banks at UVA Community Health Hospitals.
The position is tenure-optional with open academic rank and includes responsibilities in call coverage, education, and research. A strong interest in resident education and academic engagement is highly desirable.
