Overview
Open Source Enterprise Sales / Alliances - Colombia (Spanish Speaker) at Canonical. Remote opportunities available globally; this link is for a Spanish speaker based in or able to commute to Colombia. A good knowledge of the Colombian market is mandatory.

Teams meet in person 2 to 4 times per year to align on strategy and execution.
The company is founder-led, profitable and growing. We are hiring for Enterprise Sales and Alliances Sales representatives to drive revenue growth.
Role focus areas include working with go-to-market partners, hardware and software vendors, systems integrators, and distributors to enable, manage and grow business opportunities and drive market expansion alongside revenue growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to grow in this critical area.
Location: Remote; Colombia-based or able to travel as needed.
These roles entail
Advancing a deep understanding of Linux and cloud software ecosystem, and open source selling models
Experience with negotiating contracts and commercial terms
Building and expanding strategic relationships
Developing and owning sales strategy and engagements
Growing customer awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu
Delivering on targets and providing a voice for partners and customers
Travel domestically and internationally to drive partnerships in person
Aligning and supporting internal Field teams to identify, support, grow and transact
Working with Marketing, Sales Engineering and Product Management to achieve targets and represent partner/customer voice
Leading executive interlocks between partners/customers and Canonical leadership
What we are looking for in you
Track record of delivering revenue in technology fields
Experience with Linux and open source
Strong academic background; undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative narrative
Confidence to share ideas and feedback openly
Leadership, commitment to skills development and mentorship
Passion for technology, demonstrated by personal projects
Strong work ethic and ability to work with motivated colleagues
Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
Diversity appreciation and ability to collaborate in a multi-cultural organization
Self-motivation with results-oriented mindset and drive to meet commitments
Ability to travel internationally up to two weeks twice a year and more as required
