Our client is seeking an experienced Operating Engineer 3, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing...
Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to maintain facility standards.
Ensure appropriate facility services, including preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and technical proficiency.
Maintain the HVAC systems by cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and changing parts for optimal performance.
Record readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Adhere to safety policies for hazardous materials; ensure a clean and safe workplace.
Conduct periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
Oversee the quality and pricing of maintenance work by outside contractors.
The right person has...
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
EPA 608 Universal Certification.
Ability to analyze various Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
Computer literacy for record-keeping and work order systems, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
Independence and focus in a customer service-oriented environment.
Preferred experience in commercial property or corporate office settings and trades schooling in relevant fields.
