About This Role
The Level II Registered Nurse in the Operating Room - Cardiac Team is responsible for providing competent direct patient care and supporting unit activities. This role is ideal for nurses with a strong interest in cardiac care and the ability to take on expanded responsibilities.

Pay: $40 - $54/hour
Location: Rochester, NY
Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
Schedule: Full-time, Rotating shifts
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system.
Support peers in delivering patient care services.
Assume charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Care for patients undergoing CABG, TAVI, and heart failure treatments.
Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Assess unit needs and participate in service activities.
Requirements
Education:
Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program required.
Experience:
Minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current RN License in New York State required.
