Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Must be licensed with NBSTSA (no other licensing bodied allowed).
Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Shift & Scheduling: Scheduled shifts are during the week. One night a week for C2 call (7p-7a). C2 call will not be scheduled on scheduled off days. One weekend every four weeks is C1 call from 7am-7pm (12 hour call). During weekend call, you will be called in for trauma backup if both teams are in rooms. The next time you are on weekend call, it will be C2 from 7a-7pm and C1 from 7pm to 7am. You could be called on C2 for trauma backup if all three teams are in rooms from 7a-7p. You could be called in if the in-house team is in a room for trauma backup from 7p-7a (24 hour call). You must be in-house within 30 minutes of call.
Unit Details: High volume of neuro/spine and orthopedic trauma. Cases include general orthopedics, general surgery including robotics, urology, GYN, vascular, ENT and OMF.
10 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
