Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Special Requests:
Required certifications cannot expire the same month as the potential start date to apply.
Unit Details:
Prepares the operating room, including the sterile field, and sets up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions.
During surgery, passes instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon and prepares and manages surgical equipment.
Manages the sterile field and specimens and performs sponge and supply counts to prevent retained foreign objects.
Shift & Scheduling:
On-call required: 4 on-call shifts per month.
Floating Requirements:
May be required to float to Sterile Processing or the inpatient floor to serve as a sitter if OR volume is low.
10 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
