Summary
This position is located at Fort Lee, VA and can be filled throughout Business Recreation Division: The Gregg-Adams Club TenStrike Bowling Cardinal Golf Club Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Please note: This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. Applicants will be referred as vacancies occur. This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours). Hours are not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages.
Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan.
May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.
May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively.
