Operations AssociateBurns & Wilcox is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join our growing team supporting London-based commercial and personal lines contracts. This role is vital in ensuring smooth back-end operations, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across our contract portfolio.This position offers exposure to international insurance operations, risk management processes, and regulatory frameworks.ResponsibilitiesManage forms, contract changes, and new/renewal entries into C1 or equivalent systemsProvide assistance across both Commercial and Personal Lines teams when needed with similar policy and contract administration tasksMaintain and update centralized filing systems for all slips, endorsements, and related documents across Commercial and Personal LinesAssist with ad hoc compliance queries, collaborating with internal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirementsManage external audit queries and collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance. Working with both London Practice and Compliance team.Inspect files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and market regulations.Perform branch internal audits to ensure compliance with expected standards.Monitor and report on aggregate exposures and risk-level data across contractsMonitor and respond to Resource Pro (or equivalent) queriesSupport team with ad hoc reporting needsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Insurance, Business, Risk Management, or related fieldExperience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or contract administration preferredStrong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environmentDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, include Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departmentsUnderstanding of London Market practices is a plusBenefitsCompetitive base compensationEmployer paid continuing education courses and designations via access to Kaufman InstituteHealth and welfare benefits including medical, vision and dental401K with employer matchPaid vacation, sick time, and holidaysAccess to Kaufman Wellness ProgramAbout Our CompanyBurns & Wilcox, the flagship organization of H.W.
