Job description
Operations Associate The role : Build the operating infrastructure that allows Clove to scale from a multi-site dental group into a 40+ practice platform. You’ll own the systems, vendors, facilities, procurement, and operational projects that keep our offices running efficiently while helping integrate newly acquired practices. Reports to : COO. Location : LA-based, 5 days in office.
Dental, multi-site healthcare, or multi-unit operations experience preferred
You will own: IT & systems administration — standardize computers, phones, access, software, and technology setup across locations
Vendor management — manage existing vendors, contracts, renewals, service levels, and new vendor implementation
Procurement — standardize purchasing across dental supplies, equipment, technology, and general office needs
Facilities — coordinate repairs, maintenance, equipment issues, and outside service providers across locations
Acquisition integration — partner with Corp Dev and Field Operations to transition newly acquired practices onto Clove's systems, vendors, and operating standards
New office launches — support de novos and acquired-office launches from pre-close through opening
Operational standardization — build SOPs, checklists, and repeatable processes that can scale across 40+ locations
Cost optimization — identify opportunities to consolidate vendors, renegotiate contracts, and reduce office-level operating expenses
Operational problem solving — jump into high-priority projects and issues across the organization
You will partner on: Acquisition diligence and integration

Technology and automation
New office openings
Vendor negotiations and budgeting
KPIs: Acquisition integration: core systems/vendors transitioned within 30 days of close
Facilities: 95%+ of routine issues resolved within established SLA
Procurement: standardized purchasing across all locations
Vendor savings: measurable annual savings through consolidation and renegotiation
Launch readiness: 100% of required operational items completed before office launch
Systems: standardized technology stack across all Clove locations
Profile: 2–5 years of operations, consulting, healthcare, multi-site, or high-growth startup experience
Extremely organized and comfortable managing many projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable negotiating with vendors and managing outside partners
Willing to be hands-on — from analyzing costs to solving an urgent office issue
Strong Excel/Sheets skills; comfortable learning new software quickly
AI-fluent and constantly looking for ways to automate manual workflows
High ownership mentality and comfortable operating with limited structure
LA-based; no visa sponsorship
