Operations ClerkAs an Operations Clerk, you drive productivity and maximize workflow through the monitoring of incoming and outgoing inventory and researching discrepancies. In this role, you will resolve issues from a work station using a computer-based application. You will perform audits on deliveries, merchandise movement, and outgoing shipments. You're adept at trouble shooting, researching, and resolving errors in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven distribution environment. An Operations Clerk will physically assist the team in material handling and merchandise processing.Your responsibilities include:Be a role model leader for others; act with integrity and respect, approach responsibility with confidence and ownership, inspire superior performance, and develop a track record of success.Coordinate paperwork to match merchandise processing functionsEnter data and retrieve information using various warehouse management systems, track and maintain database with audit resultsCommunicate daily with related departments, vendors and Home Office personnel both over the phone and through emailIdentify and resolve system or paperwork discrepanciesAssist in physical and cycle count inventoriesMonitor and maintain a safe work environment, safe work conditions, and safe work practices.Consistently meet or exceed business targets while balancing short and long term results.Physical requirements include:Stand for long periods of time and walk continuouslyLift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for the duration of the shift, up to 12 hours at a timePull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as neededClimb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feetLift and carry up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each departmentQualifications include:Experience in distribution center operations or previous warehouse experienceHigh school diploma, GED or some high schoolExcellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and strong attention to detailHigh degree of proficiency in Google Docs/Sheets or MS Office Suite & internet applicationsStrong data entry and computer proficiencyAbility to step in and support other departments as neededMust be able to communicate effectively in English.Bonus: Bilingual in Spanish
