Operations CoordinatorLaSalle Network is partnering with a rapidly growing 3PL in Itasca, IL to hire an Operations Coordinator. This is a great opportunity for someone with freight brokerage or 3PL experience who enjoys a fast-paced logistics environment and wants to grow with a company handling complex, high-value shipments.What You'll DoTrack and update shipment statuses using McLeod SoftwareCommunicate regularly with drivers regarding shipment updates, timing, and delivery statusManage daily email communication with carriers, customers, and internal teamsPartner closely with dispatch and account management to troubleshoot and resolve delivery issuesSupport high-value freight operations while maintaining accurate shipment data and complianceUse Excel to track, log, and validate shipment informationHelp keep shipments moving smoothly from pickup through deliveryWhat We're Looking For1+ year of experience in a 3PL, freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics environment requiredExperience coordinating freight with carriers and/or driversExperience working with a TMS; McLeod experience is a major plusHigh-value freight experience preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environmentSchedule & Work SetupThree Scheduling Options:Monday – Friday, 12:00PM-9:00PM (Off Sat & Sun)Sunday – Thursday, 12:00PM-9:00PM (Off Fri & Sat)Tuesday – Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM (Off Sun & Mon)Saturday, 7:00AM-4:00PMHybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote initially, with the schedule transitioning to 3 days onsite / 2 days remote when their new office opens.Compensation & Benefits$23.00/hour with the opportunity to earn additional compensation upon conversionContract-to-hire opportunityLaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits.
