Operations Field Manager - RestorationPower Dry | Columbus, OHPosition OverviewThe Operations Field Manager will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of technicians in responding to property damage caused by water or mold. This role requires a proven ability to manage operations efficiently, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain excellent customer relations. A strong knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly skilled in both the technical and leadership aspects of mitigation work.Key Responsibilities Include:Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfactionOversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completionConduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when neededDirect crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followedDevelop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivityMonitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceededManage customer complaints and service issues through resolution, working directly with customers to address concerns and ensure a positive overall experience.Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team membersConduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvementCollaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resourcesOversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and availableReview construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentationEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practicesProvide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when neededMonitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performanceWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industryPrevious mitigation and restoration industry experience preferredHands-on construction experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource managementDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teamsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practicesAbility to read and interpret construction plans and project documentationBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusWhat Makes You SuccessfulHigh-energy, positive leadership styleStrong integrity and professionalismExcellent time management and organizational skillsCustomer-first mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressureHands-on approach and willingness to work alongside your team in the fieldAbility to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsCompetitive base salary plus performance bonusesBi-Weekly payChoice of medical plans, including select plans with $0 payroll cost for employee coverageDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical and dependent care expensesHealth Savings Account (HSA) available with qualifying high-deductible plansCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability insuranceCompany-paid life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offPaid holidays plus one floating holidaySick time that carries over year to yearPaid training and certification supportOpportunities for advancement and career growthTravel reimbursement for work-related travelEmployee referral bonus programCompany-provided uniforms
