This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management Functional Area Professional - Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.JOB OVERVIEWProvide services and support as a Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems (Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County Utilities Generally Located In CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East Region (Of Country/World).RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist | Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management (PCBOCC ) Oversee daily operations of treatment systems; execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.; Ensure SCADA system functions, monitor energy/resource use, and support system optimization efforts.; Assist in sustainability tracking, digital logging, and efficiency upgrades across utility operations.QualificationsDesired Qualifications For Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Specialist | Utility System Operations & Maintenance Management (PCBOCC ) (PCBOCC ) Candidates:Certification in water/wastewater operations; additional instrumentation/SCADA certifications preferred.Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications 3–10 years in municipal utility operations, with automation or sustainability operations preferred.Skills Required Mechanical/electrical diagnostics, SOP documentation, SCADA operation, CMMS systems, safety compliance.Competencies Required Hands-on problem-solving, process reliability, O&M tracking, teamwork.Ancillary Details Of The Roles Support integration of digital monitoring for energy and water conservation programs.Assist engineers with condition assessment and asset management data collection.Other Details May involve 24/7 rotational shifts and emergency standby duties.Core CompetenciesTeamwork – the ability to foster teamwork collaboratively as a participant and effectively as a team leaderLeadership – the ability to guide and lead colleagues on projects and initiativesBusiness Acumen – understanding and insight into how organizations perform, including business processes, data, systems, and peopleCommunication – ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders of all levels orally and in writingMotivation – persistent in pursuit of quality and optimal client and company solutionsAgility – ability to quickly understand and transition between different projects, concepts, initiatives, or workstreamsJudgment – exercises prudence and insight in the decision-making process while being mindful of other stakeholders and long-term ramificationsOrganization – the ability to manage projects and actions and prioritize tasksOther RequirementsBusiness Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
