🚛 Operations Manager | AMX TruckingFull-Time | In Person
Are You the Person Who Keeps Everything Moving?AMX Trucking is looking for a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to take the lead in our day-to-day driver operations.
We're looking for someone who knows how to lead a team, solve problems, improve productivity, and keep operations running smoothly . If you're the type of person who can walk into a busy operation, identify what's slowing things down, and figure out how to make it better — we want to meet you.
This is more than a management position. You'll have a direct impact on our drivers, dispatch team, efficiency, and overall success.
🚦 What You'll Be DoingOversee daily driver operations and keep productivity moving in the right direction.
Lead, coach, and support our dispatch team.
Help hire and train new dispatchers.
Build schedules and make sure the team has what they need to succeed.
Monitor driver and operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Establish performance metrics and hold the team accountable to results.
Analyze what's working, what's not, and find better ways to do it.
Create and implement processes that make our day-to-day operations more efficient.
Communicate new policies, procedures, and expectations clearly to the operations team.
Lead team meetings and help keep everyone aligned when things change.
Work closely with Customer Service and other departments to keep communication and workflow running smoothly.
Handle performance issues and employee concerns professionally and fairly.
Help create a positive, productive, and accountable team environment.
Represent AMX Trucking professionally with employees, customers, and industry partners.

⭐ Experience We're Looking ForExperience in trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or a similar fast-paced environment is highly valued.
Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
You should also be comfortable with:
Microsoft Office Suite and similar business software
Performance metrics and reporting
Employee coaching and performance management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Business operations and financial concepts
