This position will be responsible for supervising production employees in an efficient manner to achieve the desired quality and quantity of work, interacting with maintenance, quality control, housekeeping, and safety on the production floor.Primary responsibilities include:Develop and maintain systems that actively promote continuous line improvementsLead team development and address individual performance improvement issues in conjunction with team leadersCoordinate crewing structure to ensure team coverageTrack operational results, continuously communicating expectations to the teams and implementing improvements as necessaryMaintain active communication with Platform Managers regarding efficiencies, action plans, employee relations concerns, or other information that impacts the success of the businessTrack quality results and initiate processes to correct quality issuesProactively follow-up and resolve unsafe conditions in the plantEnsure good housekeeping and organization among teamsCoordinate accident and incident investigationsLead compliance of all safe work practicesManages uptime/downtime percentages by working with teams on improvement strategiesManages overtime on each line and ensures that overtime is balanced among team members**Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays**The ideal candidate should possess the following:Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in continuous, high-speed manufacturingPrevious supervisory/leadership experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment.Demonstrated problem solving ability using reliable methodsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Bachelor's Degree preferred.What We Offer YouCompetitive base salary and bonus opportunitiesPaid time off (three-week minimum)Medical, dental and vision starting day one401(k) with employer matchPaid parental leaveChild and family care assistance (dependent care FSA with employer match up to $2500)Bundle of joy benefit (year's worth of free diapers to all team members with a new baby)Tuition assistanceWellness program with savings of up to $4,000 per year on insurance premiums...and more!First Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.
