(M-Th 3:00pm – 12:00am and every other F from 3:00pm – 11:00pm)As our Operations Supervisor, you will make critical contributions by holding responsibility for:Provide hands-on leadership to include performance management, scheduling, training and professional development coordinationRegularly meets with department leads and operators, consistently reviewing standard work and providing guidanceDevelop leadership bench strength for upcoming new programs and attritionLead root-cause and corrective-action efforts (RCCA) and promote a strong culture of continuous improvement and operational disciplineEnsure materials flow to each work cellDrive continuous improvementEnsure longer term quality initiatives are run to completionEnsuring standard work is accurate/achievableJob Safety Analysis creation and annual reviewWork actively with Value Stream Managers and Lean leaders to support process improvementsAttends Value Stream related meetings and flows to leadsTo be considered for the Operations Supervisor role, you will need to bring with you:HS Diploma/GED is required5+ years of manufacturing operations experienceDirect industry experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environmentsProficiency with MS Office, especially ExcelStrong working knowledge of assembly and test operations, complex mechanical/electrical builds, or precision manufacturing processes.Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, work instructions, engineering change orders (ECOs), and test procedures.Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, value-stream mapping, standard work, and waste reduction.Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence in a high-rigor environment.Ideal if you also had:3+ of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting; Demonstrated experience in managing skilled technicians, coaching and fostering a high-performance, accountable team culture.Working knowledge of TWI trainingExperience creating Job Breakdown SheetsExperience leading Kata and KaizenHow we care for you:Financial Rewards: Great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsWork/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off, holidays and parental leave program, relocation assistanceHealth & Wellbeing: Comprehensive insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, Employee Assistance Plan ("EAP") and other supplemental benefit coveragesProfessional Skills Development: Tuition Assistance, mentorship and coaching opportunities, leadership development and other personal growth programsCollaborative and Welcoming Culture: Warm, respectful, family-like environment rooted in our 12 core values. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
