What You'll Do:
* Lead and motivate the Operations team during setups, events, and tear-downs.
* Serve as the primary floor contact for clients, ensuring their needs are anticipated and exceeded.
* Ensure event spaces are safe, clean, and guest-ready at all times.
* Direct staff in proper use of heavy equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts).
* Respond quickly to changes, emergencies, or client requests with confidence and professionalism.
* Maintain the facility's appearance inside and out, from event rooms to Grove Plaza.
* Promote a positive, collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
What we are looking for:
* At least 1 year of event or related operations experience .
* Leadership or supervisory experience required.
* Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
* Willingness to become Forklift Certified (we'll train you!).
* Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and occasionally work at heights up to 22 feet.
