Job DescriptionOperator 3
NCW is looking for 5 Operator 3s to support commercial/industrial data center projects in Trenton and Sidney, OH . Candidates will operate excavators for precision excavation, utility trenching, structural excavation, and GPS-guided excavation. This is a great opportunity for experienced excavation operators who are comfortable working long hours and a 6-day schedule.
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract
Location: Trenton & Sidney, OH
Pay: $35/hr
Start: Monday, 10/19/26
Duration: Minimum 2 months
Schedule: Monday–Saturday; typically 6x8s, but currently working 6x10s–6x12s
Required Skills
Experience operating excavators in commercial or industrial environments
Experience with precision excavation and trenching
Ability to perform GPS-guided excavation
OSHA 10 required
OSHA 30 preferred for operators
Valid ID required and must match information submitted
Ability to follow job-site safety procedures
English- or Spanish-speaking candidates accepted
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate excavators for commercial/industrial data center construction
Perform precision excavation
Complete utility trenching
Perform structural excavation
Operate GPS-guided excavation equipment
Use GPS systems to accurately complete excavation work
Safely operate equipment around utilities, structures, and other crews
Follow project specifications and site safety requirements
Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain a safe work area
Work collaboratively with the excavation and construction teams
Experience
Previous experience as an Operator 3 / Excavation Operator
Strong excavator operating experience required
Experience on commercial, industrial, or data center projects preferred
Experience with GPS-guided excavation preferred
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
