Operator I - Utility Operator First ShiftThe Gund Company has an immediate opening for an Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our team!Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (M-F)Hourly Wage: $20 - $24 per hour based on experienceWork location: Noblesville, INMachinery: Press Punch Machine & SlitterThe Gund Company, a leader in engineered material solutions, specializes in customized electrical insulation products. We are currently seeking a entry-level Machine Operator to join our team.Job Summary Machine OperatorAs a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating various punch press production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Machine Operator· Operate a production punch press.· Operate slitting machine.· Inspect and document product measurements to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.· Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.· Other duties as assigned.RequirementsA High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience is required.Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.Preferred:Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong basic math skills.Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers).Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.Experience with stamping presses or slitters.Work Environment Utility Operator IThis role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.BenefitsPaid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysComprehensive benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability).401(k) plan with a 50% employer match.Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).Ongoing training and development programs.Join a company that values your contribution and invests in your future.
