As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in our production facility. Your primary duties will include setting up machines, monitoring their operations, and ensuring that products meet quality standards.Location: Portsmouth, NHWhat you will be doing:Tasks associated with the operation, inspecting, and packaging of finished goods, including quality checks (visual inspection of parts for defects - fill levels, packaging, and others).Complete production operations work orders accurately.Perform equipment set-up and changeover, basic preventative maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, work area, and facility while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles in all areas of responsibility.Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), 5S, and other continuous improvement and lean projects.Comply with safety and regulatory regulations, policies, and procedures.Exercise proper lifting, bending, and twisting techniques.Other Job Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift throughout the duration of the shift.Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs minimum in accordance with company safety guidelines.Ability to wear required PPE, including but not limited to safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirators, or other protective equipment as required.Skills you will need:High School Diploma or GEDExperience with working in chemical/glass manufacturing is preferredCompany Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective on first day of employmentPaid Time Off – Eligible to accrue up to 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO), pro-rated based on start datePaid Holidays401(K) Retirement Plan – Company Matching Contribution up to 6%Quarterly Incentive Bonus Plan – eligible to participate to earn additional compensationTuition Reimbursement – eligible after 90 days of employmentThe hiring range for this position is: $20/hour plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
