Job PostingCOMPANY OVERVIEW: Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am with over time on Fridays as needed.Nelson Global Products provides superior metal forming solutions worldwide to the Commercial, Recreational Vehicle and Industrial markets by executing lean principles, empowering our employees and leveraging our global footprint. We are focused on the health and safety of our employees, partnering with our customers, giving back to the communities we live in and protecting our natural environment.***THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $1000 SIGN ON BONUS!***PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Operate, set-up, and trouble shoot machine(s) and department equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine specifications.Hang, paint and spray paint components according to design requirements.Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.Complete accurate paperwork per workstation in a timely manner.Package and assemble completed products timely and accurately for transport to the customer.Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure a clean and safe work area.Apply all safety, quality, and other plant processes and procedures to the products.Keep work area safe and clean (5S- Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Responsible for quality workmanship that meets and or exceeds customer expectations.Other responsibilities as assigned and directed by supervisor/leadEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredDemonstrated mechanical aptitudePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:In terms of a normal workday: Continuously (up to 100%), Frequently (up to 66%), Occasionally (up to 33%),Continuously standing or walking for 10-hour shift.Frequently bend, twist, stoop to remove materials and lift to work area.Frequently load parts into work area and packaging without damaging products.Frequently push/pullFrequently lift up to 25 lbs.Occasionally squat or kneel.Occasionally sittingSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to read blueprints and setup instructionsProficiency in the use of appropriate measuring instruments (tape measure, dial calipers, pi tape)Proficiency in shop math (fractions, decimals, metric)Independent, motivated, customer focused.Excellent problem solving skills.Ability to prioritize and multi-task.Ability to work in a cross-functional teamTeam worker with the desire to learnSelf-motivated, quality minded employee that is safety conscienceInclusive Benefits Package:Medical, Dental, and Vision CoverageWellness Programs401K Retirement PlanShort-Term Disability (STD)Generous Paid Time OffCompany-Paid Life Insurance$1000 Sign On BonusAnd More!Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
