You might be the one we are looking for Scraper OperatorDuties and ResponsibilitiesOperate scrapers to move earth, gravel, and other materials on construction sitesPerform routine maintenance on scrapersFollow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuriesPerform any other duties related to the job siteRegular attendance required.Willing to travel and must be able to supply their own transportation.Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredWork environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.3+ years of experience within the construction industry.High School Diploma or GED.Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information.Must be able to follow directions.Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds.Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to machines and chemicals at various times.
