As we move into a new, larger location in Lynwood, we're growing our team, and we want you to grow with us!We're currently hiring for two roles: Ophthalmic Technician and Patient Concierge.We're proud to foster a workplace built on diversity, equity, and inclusion, where every colleague is respected, valued, and set up to succeed.Ophthalmic TechnicianJoin our clinical team and play a hands-on role in patient care. You'll:Prep and manage exam lanes, keeping supplies stocked and readyTake patient histories and perform ophthalmic workups and diagnostic examsEducate patients on eye conditions and treatment plansKeep medical records accurate and completeHelp keep patient flow on schedule and communicate with the care teamBring flexibility and a team-first attitude to a fast-paced clinical environmentPatient ConciergeBe the welcoming face of our practice, both in person and on the phone. You'll:Greet and assist patients and visitors with warmth and professionalismSchedule routine, follow-up, and specialty appointmentsServe as a go-to point of contact for patient and visitor inquiriesCoordinate with clinical staff to keep patient flow smooth and communicate updatesUse strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenging interactions with empathyHelp create a positive, efficient front-office experienceRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of general office experience in a healthcare setting preferredProficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Windows-based systemsStrong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbalAble to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a teamComfortable working with elderly patientsKnowledge of and adherence to HIPAA policies and proceduresCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay: $20–$24 per hourMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) plan with employer contributionCompany-paid life insuranceRobust ancillary benefitsGenerous paid time off and paid holidaysEEO StatementWhy Northwest Eye Surgeons?Nationally recognized practice with advanced technologyNew, larger location — an exciting time to join usA culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusionA collaborative, growth-oriented team
