Ophthalmic Technician, UncertifiedWe are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ophthalmologist in providing high-quality eye care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities:Assist the Ophthalmologist in performing eye exams and diagnostic testsPrepare patients for procedures and surgeriesAdminister eye drops and medications as directed by the OphthalmologistPerform basic eye tests such as visual acuity, color vision, and depth perceptionRecord patient medical history and maintain accurate patient recordsClean and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instrumentsProvide patient education on eye care and treatment optionsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent1 year of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician preferred but not requiredKnowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment preferred but not requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy
