Job description
Ophthalmic TechnicianPride Health is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support our client's medical facility in Lake Katrine, NY. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). And a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation! Specific Duties:Conducted patient intake and workups by collecting medical histories, medications, symptoms, visual acuity, and other preliminary clinical information.Performed diagnostic eye testing and imaging, including visual field testing, tonometry, and other ophthalmic tests as required.Assisted ophthalmologists with patient examinations and procedures by preparing patients, equipment, and clinical supplies.Provided patient care and education, explained testing procedures, documented results, and addressed patient needs throughout the visit.Maintained efficient clinic flow by preparing examination rooms, managing patient movement, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of preferred experienceHigh school graduate or GED equivalentAdditional Information: Location: Lake Katrine, NY Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire Schedule: Shift start & end times: 08:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday Pay Range: $25-$27/hr. on W2Equal Employment Opportunity: PrideGlobal and it's affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
