The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both patients and providers.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient workups and ophthalmic testingAccurately document examination findings, assessments, and treatment plansAssist ophthalmologists during examinations, procedures, and in-office laser treatmentsObtain and document patient medical historiesEducate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment recommendationsEnsure patients understand physician instructions and follow-up careMaintain efficient patient flow and communicate appointment statusAdminister ophthalmic medications as directedSterilize instruments and maintain ophthalmic equipmentTriage patient phone calls according to clinical protocolsAssist patients with contact lens insertion and removalClinical Skills & Equipment Experience PreferredExperience with the following is highly desirable:Auto RefractorRetinoscopePhoropterSlit LampPentacam / Corneal TopographyWavescanIOL MasterZeiss OCTHeidelberg OCTHumphrey Visual Field TestingPachymetryTonometryColor Vision TestingExtraocular Muscle Function TestingHirschberg TestingVan Herick MeasurementsWorth 4-Dot TestingStereopsis TestingRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinical settingProfessional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentialityTeam-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where neededReady to Advance Your Career?Join a practice known for clinical excellence, advanced technology, and a commitment to outstanding patient care.
